I’m working on a couple new tracks all geared up for a release sometime this Summer. New recordings, a lot of new material. Album length still TBD. It may be a 5 song EP or it might be more. I’m gonna bang out a new website that is strictly music oriented and maybe keep nerding a bit in a blog section or on my twitter cause nerd shit RULES.
I had a blast playing this past weekend. Here’s a little sample with the second set opener, James Taylor’s Mexico. Funnily enough, I documented my learning process of this song on Twitter, and it was the only song I have video of from the gig.
New single coming soon
So League of Legends dropped a new game mode and I have to admit: I’m a big fan. I played LoL nightly for about a year and a half back in 2013-2014. However after my child was born I quit any game that I couldn’t just play casually, including League. With the release of TFT, League falls back into the casual category for me. Well how casual could a game be if I can’t kick it on the couch and play a few games? Which got me thinking… how can I kick it on the couch and play a few games…
This song was written by Todd Donald. I met Todd online via the website PureVolume back in ’04-’05 (?). We were mutual admirers of each others songs. We even recorded a version of the Beatles’ classic I’m Looking Through You.
I have “archived” my old github projects. Specifically Reaxpress (merges React + Express.js, no relation to WordPress), which also means the old version of this website. I have thusly and righteously decidedly to install WordPress again because I think WordPress rawks. I’m also thinking about respawning my WordPress hosting business. I don’t think I have time for any projects but I do have time for site migrations and hosting. I’m going to setup a comprehensive package and 1-pager. If you know anyone that wants fast, secure, and fully managed WordPress hosting, I just may be your person.
On an unrelated note, I am going to start writing blog posts. I need to write more, even if just as an exercise.
